Is there Government Funding for Green Job Training and Education?

Yes! The Green Business Institute commends our representatives in the federal government for providing Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds to train displaced workers for new careers in the green industries. The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act will pay you to go back to school and will even extend your unemployment benefits while you are in school!

As you can expect, there are a number of requirements that every school must meet before it can become an approved education provider.
