SPECIFICATIONS

CASE 22 gauge galvanized steel. Powder coated finish, antiquewhite. Insulated with 1" (25 mm) high density polystyrene foam to prevent condensation and meet the requirements of the Underwriters Laboratories 94HF.

NO WASTED HEAT, NO CROSS-CONTAMINATION

At the heart of the Fantech HRC is a polypropylene heat-exchange core providing superior heat recovery performance. During the heating season, the HRC heat-exchange core recovers heat from the outgoing, stale household air and uses it to preheat incoming, fresh outdoor air. The polypropylene heat-exchange core, designed with a multitude of crosscurrent sections, ensures the two air streams are always kept separate preventing the incoming fresh air from being contaminated by the outgoing stale air. During the air-conditioning season, the HRC reverses this heat exchange process, removing some of the heat from the incoming air and transferring it to the outgoing air.

CORE A polypropylene heat recovery core configured for efficient cross-flow ventilation. Core is 10.5" (267mm) x 10.5" (267mm) x 11" (279mm) for the HRC(M) 804 and core is 13.5" (343mm) x 13.5" (343mm) x 11" (279mm) for the HRC(M) 1204. Cores are manufactured to withstand extreme temperature variations.

MODELS HRC 804 & HRC 1204 Fantech HRC Standard Models are designed to function in conjunction with any forced-air furnace system. After balancing the unit, the fresh air is drawn in at approximately the same airflow rate as the stale air is exhausted. The system will provide a continuous exchange of air at a balanced rate while at the same time recovering heat from the exhausted air.

MODELS HRCM 804 & HRCM 1204 Fantech HRCM Models are designed with two (2) factory installed motorized dampers. When the Relative Humidity (RH) in the home rises above the selected set point, the wall mounted dehumidistat will trigger the motorized dampers to open and activate the furnace blower fan to exchange the air until the dehumidistat has been satisfied. The dehumidistat transformer and relay are included with both Fantech HRCM Models.

INSTALLATION Unit is typically hung by using installation kit supplied with unit. Mounting bolts provided on top four (4) corners of unit.

SERVICEABILITY Core, filter and drain pan can be easily serviced through latched access door.
