Why train online for energy auditing?

While field experience is always valuable, many of our students don't have the time or resources to attend a long and drawn out hands on training session.  This is especially true if you don't have a hands-on training course available in your area.  The cost of travel expenses alone prohibits many potential students.

Additionally, many hands-on courses cost $1,000 or more, quite an investment if you're simply exploring a potential new avenue.  Our training video provides the training you'll need at a fraction of the cost.

What is BPI?

The Building Performance Institute is the recognized leader in developing and supporting high quality energy audit training programs.  BPI does not provide energy audit training courses themselves, instead they partner with local experts to provide the training.

What is HERS?

The Home Energy Rating Standard was developed by RESNET to help define the home energy audit process.  This allows energy auditors to measure a home's energy efficiency against another home based on a numerical index.  This is referred to as the HERS Index, a scale of 0 to 100, with 0 representing a home that uses zero net purchased energy.
