Who is this course for?

This is essential knowledge for anyone involved in the residential design and construction industry in Montana, regardless of whether or not you work within the areas covered by city or county building departments. In Montana the Energy Code is the law and, even if a building is not inspected by any building department official, the builder is required (by law) to "self-certify" that they have met the requirements of the Energy Code.

If you are designing, building, inspecting, or planning to build a home in Montana you need to understand how to meet the 2009 IECC.

Perfect for:

  • Architects
  • Building Designers
  • Structural Engineers
  • Mechanical Engineers
  • Code Officials
  • Home Inspectors
  • General Contractors
  • Sub-contractors
  • Building Material and Equipment Suppliers
  • Potential Home Owners or Home Buyers
